Added 100 shares of Ma Bell Today

Today, I added 100 shares of AT&T to my portfolio. I held a small position and have been too chicken to buy more for too long. The stock was down 5-6% at various times throughout the day, so I took the opportunity to buy into a great dividend payer. I don't have high hopes for making tons of money with this holding, but do expect a solid yield and moderate growth. I'm probably full on this name for a while.

New Buys: BGG & AAPL

Just a quick note here on a few new buys. Today I bought more shares of Briggs & Stratton (BGG) and a new position in Apple (AAPL).

The "JUST ONE MORE" Syndrome

It's easy to be myopic when making major life decisions. The "just one more" syndrome is tough to combat. "I'll start to exercise in JUST ONE MORE week." "I'll start saving for retirement when I get JUST ONE MORE raise." "JUST ONE MORE month of this commute." It takes a lot of bravery and intestinal fortitude to overcome this condition. I'm struggling with it myself these days.

Spring Break: Painted Drywalled Walls!

After living with torn up, exposed insulation walls since moving in in November, we can now have a comfortable room in our house. Our powder room and laundry room are also freshly drywalled and painted, but don't look as nice because they do not have a finished floor or any fixtures - the pictures don't serve justice to the amount of work we did to the rooms.
